To provide instruction, resources, and services for students and faculty that will enhance learning and citizenship.

The Library Learning Commons...

...is a place designated for individual and collaborative academic work and quiet reflection.

...is reserved as a quiet space for students to read, research, and study.

...has conference rooms available for academic group work.

...is a food-free environment. Please refrain from eating or drinking beverages other than water.

For Students:

  • Academic and personal assistance with research, citation, or general information
  • Research guides to find information for assignments, projects, research papers
  • Classroom instruction in research skills, information/digital literacy, citation, etc.

 

For Teachers:

  • Teacher-Librarian collaborative planning
  • Research guides tailored to classroom instruction
  • Professional development for staff
  • Use your Chromebook or one of the 3 desktops in the LLC to send documents to print.
  • Use either of our 2 printers to "release" your document. 
  • We have only black and white printing. No color printing is available.
  • From the print screen, change printer to RHS_Lib-Secure Print
    • ‚ÄčIf you can't see this printer in the list, see IT in Room 237.
  • At the printer, login by entering your 5-digit cafeteria code.
    • Don't know your code? Check your Skyward Profile.
    • Find it under Food Service. Look to the right for the keypad #.
  • Select Ok and then Login.
  • Select Release.
  • Touch  to highlight the document to print. 
  • Press the blue Start button on the bottom
  • Close the next window.
  • Log out: Press the Access button on the right and select Yes.
